Today Steven, our office manager, was testing out a virtual reality headset. We are planning to use it at the office to help patients relax and zone out that they are at the dentist. He seemed to really like it and I think it would work great, especially for people that are a little nervous to come in.
Got this sweet picture of Penelope from her day care. So cute that she is practicing how to say ah and showing the other toddlers how to do it. Hope all our patients do this well!
We have had an exciting week of phone calls coming in from patients asking about when our office will be open. It is good to know that we are reaching people with our website, Facebook, Instagram and coming soon sign. We expect to have our doors open sometime in August or September. Right now we are working hard to build the interior of the office and decide on signage. Which design do you like best for our storefront sign?

East Lake Family Dental patients, family and friends!
We are proud to have our full website up and running. It has been a long process but we are very happy with what we have created. As we get closer to opening we will have updated photos and also allow for online scheduling with LocalMed (similar to OpenTable but for dental appointments) so you don’t have to wait on a call back. We have added a new member to our office. Little Theodore is very excited for the progress to our building and can’t wait for our doors to open to welcome you all. He has been attending a lot of business meetings and listening in on phone calls with Dr. Reema and Steven.
This week the exterior facade of the building has been installed. Soon we will be able to start construction on the interior to make it comfortable for all of you.
We’ve officially broken ground and the office is well underway now. My family and I went to visit the construction site and while we were there we got to post our “Coming Soon” sign on the side of the road. We can’t wait for you to see the building finished and our state-of-the-art interior. We know you will love it.
